DownloadOversee Administration and Management of SMASE to assure all Local, State, Federal and Navajo Nation Rules, Regulations and Laws are followed. A Board Member will also be obligated to maintain financial oversight of SMASE, ensuring appropriate business practices are followed and documentation is maintained.
Support the Association's Members in the community day program, and in their homes to live as independent as possible and to help them reach their full potential by teaching and assisting with daily living skills that promote their rights, dignity, and freedom of choice, while always prioritizing the safety of the Members.
Provides individualized quality care to members with disabilities in an environment which promotes their rights, dignity, and freedom of choice; implements programs and services as specified in the members Person Centered Service Plan; completes accurately all reports, data collection and other information documenting the care and services provided in keeping with licensing regulations and SMASE policies.
Provides safe and efficient transportation service for members to and from their residence to Day Treatment for Adults (DTA) and other SMASE sponsored activities. Must be willing to work with adults with multiple disabilities.
